Eazy XMLRPC Pingback Disable
Eazy XMLRPC Pingback Disable is a WordPress plugin that disables the defualt XMLRPC pingback ping that can potentially be used as part of a DDOS attack.
The problem is in the built in feature that allow blogs to be automatically notified when their content is linked around the internet. An attacker could use these as open relays to flood a website with pingbacks that could take the attacked site offline.

2. Activate Eazy XMLRPC Pingback Disable Plugin
What does this plugin do?
This plugin disables the XMLRPC pingback ping that is enabled by default.
What functionality might I lose by using this plugin?
Anything that uses XMLRPC. This can include remote publishing, some Jetpack functionality and others. If your site relies on XMLRPC Pingback to do anything, this plugin is not recommended as it will cause that functionality to stop working.
